At Creative England we want to inspire the whole country to Be More Creative. We genuinely believe that talent is everywhere, but opportunity is not. We support and invest in innovative businesses across the country’s creative industries, enabling companies to grow and to thrive.
We have invested in over 350 tech and digital companies as well supporting various aspects across other creative sectors across film, television, games and production services.
Only 16% of our investment applications are female-led businesses, and we’re crying out for female leaders! It’s hard to be what you can’t see, so we have profiled four inspirational leaders from Prolifiko, Runaclub, Snapify and SpongeUK, who have all received support from Creative England.
We teamed up with Creative Review and Facebook to bring you Be More Boss. Together we aim to highlight the above issue, and celebrate some of the female leaders doing innovative work. To do this we collaborated with the talented GIF artist and photographer Kate Bones. Scroll down to see the incredible artwork.
“We’re delighted to see Kate’s thumb stopping videos bring this fantastic Creative England campaign to life, as part of our ‘Inspire’ partnership with Creative Review. We’re always keen to champion emerging talent and support the British Creative Industries so were pleased to be able to play a small role in this collaboration.”
