Erin Harrison in Games

Interview: catching up with Toxic Games

How have you found your experience on the Greenshoots programme?

We have had a very positive experience on the Greenshoots programme. As well as financial investment, we have also received valuable advice and support. Both of which have given us unique opportunities and allowed us to enhance our game’s development, namely Q.U.B.E. 2.

How has it benefited your organisation?

The Greenshoots fund provided us with the relevant finances needed to complete our game project and push its development to the highest standard achievable. In addition, it was always reassuring to know that we had access to expert knowledge and guidance from Microsoft if and when needed.

What are your key achievements / outcomes since joining the programme?

We were able to expand our team which gave us the opportunity to work with a number of talented collaborators who have greatly improved the level of quality and production on the project. As a result, we have been able to develop the game to a high standard.

What are the next steps for you and your business?

Our next step is to take Q.U.B.E. 2 to market upon completion. We will be showcasing the game at Gamescom and PAX West, which will give the public an exciting insight into the world of Q.U.B.E. 2, and we are looking forward to hearing the feedback and what people think of the game.
