The Galway Film Fleadh is Ireland’s leading film festival, a six day international film event held every July. Bringing together audiences and filmmakers within an intimate environment. The Fleadh’s diverse audience is made up of the general cinema going public, film buffs, industry professionals and invited guests.
There will be a screening of a selection of our new and emerging short films curated by the Galway shorts programming team on Friday 8th July Cinemobile at 16:15. It will be the first time a selection of non-Irish produced films will play the festival so it’s quite a significant & thrilling departure for the festival.
We are proud to showcase these films to an international festival audience and key programmers who attend Galway from overseas. This will allow, both the debut & more established filmmakers, to engage with and an opportunity to meet programmers, funders and other filmmakers at the festival.
The CE shorts are all from a range of our programmes including Emerging Talent, iShorts and Funny Girls. This programme features work from debut filmmakers and more established directors.
